LA COUR DES MIRACLES
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : MORVAN PRAT)

RUDDY MC FEARNLEY
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : MORVAN PRAT)
Ruddy Mc Fearnley
is a good chap of Dirt Alley
A good kid, good fellow an' good son.
Today Rudy is twenty
But he hasn't got a penny
No job not even a place of his own.
What more he will get
and what is the point ?
of wasting your life for money
in a job that makes you a monkey
What more he will get
and what is the point?
Of following the line
drew up by everyone
like some sheep in a bloody yard
'don't even think about it
'makes him puke on his feet
This shit he doesn't look foward
' doesn't wanna be like London
which 's burning with boredom
's got lots of friends on saturdays nigths
He gets wasted, He gets trashed
Ten bottles down the hatch'
an' he often gets into bad fights
What more he will get
and what is the point ?
of wasting your life for money
in a job that makes you a monkey
What more he will get
and what is the point?
Of following the line
drew up by everyone
like some sheep in a bloody yard
'don't even think about it
'makes him puke on his feet
This shit he doesn't look foward
One thing he cares about
When he 's holding her tight
It's this blond girl whose name is Juley.
They've only gone out twice
and tonight are rolling the dice
'Cause he doesn’t know she's a dope-head
What more he will get
and what is the point ?
of wasting your life for money
in a job that makes you a monkey
What more he will get
and what is the point?
Of following the line
drew up by everyone
like some sheep in a bloody yard
'don't even think about it
'makes him puke on his feet
This shit he doesn't look foward

Le Russkof

LE RUSSKOFF
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : MORVAN PRAT)
Y vient p'us le Russcoff traîner ici
Qu'il paie à prix d'or
Y vient p'us le Russcoff traîner ici
Quelques demoiselles
Qu'on l'a vu traîner
Y vient p'us le Russcoff traîner ici

THE CELTIC POGO
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : MORVAN PRAT)
I woke up this morning
and left my musty room
another day of idling
I don't give a fuck I know I'm just a doomed !
I' m a punk and anarchist
no futur and no goal
I shout it loud clenching my fist
One of the few guys pleased to be on the dole!
You can call me a skunk I will stay cold as ice
I needed to tell you
cause I've made my choice and I will make it last
There's no need to argue
Don't approve but still be open minded fellow
come on and dance to the celtic pogo
When the night falls on Dublin Town
I go and meet my friends
like me they are fooling around
all together four ourself we can fend
You can ask my sister
she'll tell you I'am dead
My mother will tell you the same
and my father doesn't know longer my name
You can call me a skunk I will stay cold as ice
I needed to tell you
cause I've made my choice and I will make it last
There's no need to argue
Don't approve but still be open minded fellow
come on and dance to the celtic pogo

Tous Les Troquets

TOUS LES TROQUETS
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : MORVAN PRAT)
Si tu as l'permi d'chanter
prière de l'présenter
pour les chansons de marins
' faut l'formulaire machin

(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : FREDDO BELLAYER)

Burnin' The Damned

BURNIN' THE DAMNED
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : DAVID "HADDOG" HOUGRON)
I started to sail from the smockey pubs
Of Dublin Town one day
During the night a storm of wind
Put me back away to Hell
Fuckin’ the Hell
Burnin’ the Hell
«I don’t want to burn no more ! »
Some of the damned came soon around me
They wanted to go aboard
Here there was Shane Mc Gowan
Who ‘s never been undrunk
He told me he was born in England
But he had an Irish Band
«Fuckin’ the damned
Burnin’ the damned »
Was the sailor’s refrain
The name of the band was the fuckin’ Pogues
And we started to sing their songs
When Lucifer came along side
We were starting to song the jig
So much chaos and mutinous
That were breacking out , That dread !
«Fuckin’ the damned
Burnin’ the damned »
Would you lastly go to Heaven ?
We started to drink and sing the songs
To see Dublin Town again.
We’ ll be back again to Dublin Town
Before the afternoon
‘Cause all the spirits, al the lyrics
Come from her bloody moon
«Fuckin’ the damned
Burnin’ the damned »
We promised we will be soon
We ‘ll be coming back
And die again from sailing
Along the banks of the Dun

God Protect The Sailors

GOD PROTECT THE SAILORS
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : MORVAN PRAT)
God protects all the sailors
What he've allways been said
But when he went to the cemetery
He saw fellow's name on graves
There wasn't only two
But several hundreds
Enough to make him wonder
If any did be saved
What is the use of comin be-
-fore the tumb of his father
'Cause this piece of stone is empty
Like half of the others
Sailors don't lie in small cages
Their grave is much larger
It's the sea
That does carry them away
I will meet You with no fail
Down the earth or down in Hell
Fasten in a cross with nails
But don't ask me forgiveness
One day naturally came his turn
To become a sailor
Like is father and grand father
See his bride far on the shore
And when the anger of the sea
Made him pray for his savior
He saw nothing come but the night
the wind and the terror
'Cause no angel hold out his hand
No voice came tellin' him
That he will be soon on the sand
of the land of refugees
though he kept still hopin' for it
till a wave went right on him
And his name
lies now in the cemetery
I will meet You with no fail
Down the earth or down in Hell
Fasten in a cross with nails
But don't ask me forgiveness

LA RUE D'LA GOUAILLE
(PAROLES & MUSIQUE : DAVID "HADDOG" HOUGRON)

BLOODY WAR
(4 premiers couplets : paroles & musique : trad. ("Song For
Ye Yacobites")
2 derniers couplets : paroles : morvan / musique : trad. (The
Stars Of The County Down")
Ye Yacobites by name
Lend and lear
Ye Yacobites by name
Your fault I will proclaim
Your doctrines I maun blaim
shall you hear
What is right and what is wrong
By the law
What is right and what is wrong
A short sword or a long
A weak arm or a strong
For the daw
What makes heroic strife
famed afair
What makes heroic strife
To whet the assassin's knife
Or hunt a parent's life
with bloody war
So let the schemes alone
In the state
So let the schemes alone
Adore the rising sun
And leave a man undone
to his fate
My people and yours can surely live together in the
same spot
without hearing after several weeks women cries and
man's gunshots
If you wanna make war to me cause my name sounds
different
if we wanna search real deep we will find a common
aunte
Freedom is a precious stone that any man wanna own
if you burst it into pieces it would worth a million more
Don't hope for the promise land that might have been
your proper
Prophets are all charlatans prophecies drives to
slaughter
Frontiers are the window bars of humanity jail
Politics are the warders and prisoners don't complain
